dotty Session Notifications
dotty is a developer tool that lets you monitor and control AI coding agents via phone calls and text messages. When your coding session needs attention — a task completes, hits a blocker, or encounters an error — dotty can notify you by SMS or voice call.
After creating an account at dotty.bot, you are prompted to add your phone number in the onboarding wizard on your dashboard. Before your number can be submitted, you must check an SMS consent checkbox that reads:
The "Send Verification Code" button is disabled until this checkbox is checked. You must actively opt in before any SMS is sent to your number.
Message frequency varies based on your coding session activity. Verification codes are sent only when you register or change your phone number. Session notifications depend on your configured preferences and how active your coding sessions are.
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS.
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact support@dotty.bot.
Compatible with all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional carriers.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of using dotty. You may use the dotty dashboard and CLI agent without providing a phone number.
We do not sell, share, or rent your phone number or SMS opt-in consent information with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used exclusively by dotty and shared only with our SMS service provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering messages you have opted into. See our full Privacy Policy.
